Welcome to PrizeRaffle UK by . These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of our website at PrizeRaffle UK.
Our platform allows users to enter raffles to win various prizes. Users can enter by purchasing "entry tokens" and using them to select specific raffle squares, or through our free postal entry route.
By using our website and entering our raffles, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
We may update these Terms periodically; changes will be effective once posted on the website. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
For clarity:
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, represent the entire agreement between you and us. If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, the other provisions remain in effect.
Our raffles ("Competitions") are open worldwide to individuals aged 18 years or older. By creating an account or entering a Competition, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (we may require proof of ID to verify this).
International Entries: You may enter from outside the UK, but you are responsible for ensuring that participating in our raffles is legal in your country of residence. Competitions are void where prohibited by law. If you are not a UK resident, please check your local regulations before entering.
Employees, directors, and agents of the Company (the "Promoter"), as well as their immediate family or household members, are not eligible to enter.
Any entry violating the age or eligibility requirements will be void. We reserve the right to close or suspend any user account if we discover eligibility criteria are not met or if we suspect an underage person is using the account.
To participate in any raffle, whether by purchasing tickets or using a free entry route, you must first register an account on our website. Registration is free.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during signup and keep it updated (especially your contact details).
Each individual is limited to one account. Creating multiple accounts or false identities to gain additional entries is prohibited – if we find anyone attempting to circumvent entry limits with multiple accounts, all associated entries will be voided at our discretion.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or close any account that it believes is being misused or violates these terms (for example, abusive behavior towards other users or staff, or any fraudulent activity).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
We offer two ways to enter our raffles: paid entry (via tokens) and free postal entry.
(a) Paid Entry Method
Each square costs a specific number of tokens as displayed on the raffle page. You must have sufficient tokens in your account balance to complete your purchase.
You can view all your active entries in the "My Entries" section of your account.
(b) Free Postal Entry Method
In accordance with UK regulations, we provide a free entry route that offers the same chance of winning as paid entries. To enter by post without purchase:
Free postal entries must be received before the raffle end date. We are not responsible for postal delays or lost mail. When we receive and process your free entry, it will appear in your account as a square allocated to you, marked as a postal entry.
While there is no limit to the number of postal entries you can submit, please note that each must be on a separate piece of paper and in a separate envelope with correct postage.
Please note: attempting to defraud the free entry system (e.g., by creating fake accounts or submitting entries for non-existent people) will result in disqualification from all current and future raffles.
Each competition may have a limit on the number of entries per person or in total; any such limits will be stated on the competition page. If a competition permits multiple entries, you may enter up to the stated maximum.
Entries beyond the limit or entries not fully in line with the instructions (e.g., incomplete details on a postal entry) may be disqualified.
All entries, once confirmed by us, are final and cannot be canceled or refunded by the entrant. We do not issue refunds for tickets you've purchased if you change your mind.
The only instance where entry fees might be refunded is if the Promoter decides to cancel or void a competition (see section 8 on Cancellations & Refunds).
Upon entry (paid or free), you will receive an entry/ticket number. It is your responsibility to ensure you have received confirmation of your entries – if you do not see confirmation in your account, you are not entered.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it reasonably suspects to be fraudulent, in breach of these terms, or otherwise invalid. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
Each raffle will have a clearly stated opening and closing date/time for entries. Entries will be accepted from the start date until the closing date as specified on the competition page (the "Promotion Period").
No entries will be accepted after the closing time, whether due to postal delays or any other reason (except where we extend the competition as outlined below).
The Promoter reserves the right in exceptional circumstances to extend the closing date by a reasonable period, or close the competition early. For example, if a competition sells out all tickets early, we might bring the draw date forward; or if not enough entries are sold, we may extend the end date (any such change will be communicated on the competition page).
However, if a competition is closed early without selecting a winner, all paid entrants will receive a full refund or site credit equivalent to the ticket price they paid.
We will not unfairly manipulate timelines and will ensure any adjustments are transparent.
Prize draws are conducted automatically by our secure system when one of the following occurs:
The winner selection process uses a secure computerized random selection method that ensures every allocated square (whether paid or free postal entry) has exactly the same chance of winning.
Our winner selection process works as follows:
In the interest of fairness, all draws are conducted automatically by our system with no manual intervention. The draw results are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter reserves the right to delay a draw in exceptional circumstances, but will always conduct the draw within 7 days of the original end date or sell-out date.
In the unlikely event that there are no entries in a competition (or all entries are void), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition and provide refunds or extend the entry period.
After the random draw, the winner will be contacted using the contact information provided on their account (typically by email and/or phone).
We aim to notify the winner as soon as possible, usually within 24-48 hours of the draw. It is the entrant's responsibility to keep their contact details up to date in their account; the Promoter is not liable if we cannot reach you because your information is incorrect.
If we cannot contact the winner (or the winner does not respond) within 30 days of the draw, despite reasonable efforts, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize.
In that event, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate winner drawn at random from the remaining entries, or to cancel the prize at our discretion.
When contacted, the winner may be required to verify their eligibility and identity. We will request proof of age (e.g., a driver's license or passport) and may also ask for proof of address before confirming a win, to ensure compliance with the 18+ policy and one-account-per-person rule.
Identification on Delivery: For certain high-value prizes, the winner will need to show ID upon delivery or collection to ensure the prize goes to the correct person.
Failure to provide required identification or any evidence of fraud may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture.
The details of each prize are described on the competition page. Prizes may be products (e.g., electronics, gadgets), cash, or other items as specified. The Promoter guarantees that advertised prizes are owned by the Promoter or legally obtained such that they can be awarded to the winner.
There are no additional fees to claim a prize – if you win, it's yours provided you meet the terms.
Prizes will only be delivered to addresses within the United Kingdom. If you are an international entrant and win a physical prize, we will offer a suitable alternative such as an equivalent-value gift card or cash alternative at our discretion, in lieu of shipping the physical item abroad (for example, an Amazon e-gift card of similar value) – this policy exists because our logistics only cover UK delivery.
We will discuss options with any international winner to ensure a fair solution. If a UK winner prefers a cash alternative and one was advertised or is available, they may choose the cash alternative (or store credit) instead of the prize, as stated on the competition details.
Unless otherwise stated, prizes are not exchangeable for cash by the winner (we only offer a cash or voucher alternative in specific cases such as international winners or if advertised up front).
Delivery of physical prizes to a UK address is free of charge. If, in special cases, the Promoter agrees to ship a prize outside the UK, the winner may be required to pay the additional shipping costs or customs duties, or alternatively accept a gift card/cash alternative if shipping is not feasible.
We will coordinate delivery logistics directly with the winner after the draw. Prizes will be shipped by a reputable courier or delivered digitally (for gift cards or digital prizes) as soon as possible after winner verification – typically within 7-14 days for physical items, or sooner for digital rewards.
The Promoter is responsible for arranging and paying for standard delivery within Great Britain; any special delivery arrangements requested by the winner that incur extra cost might be at the winner's expense (to be agreed in advance).
Each prize is awarded "as is" and must be accepted as such. Prizes are non-transferable – the winner cannot transfer the prize to someone else or request a different prize (except as stated with the gift card alternative for non-UK winners).
No part of a prize may be exchanged for cash or other substitutes by the winner (except any official cash alternative explicitly offered by the Promoter).
The Promoter makes no warranty or representation regarding the prize other than those covered by manufacturer warranties. Once delivered to the winner, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage to the prize.
We do not provide insurance for prizes; it is up to the winner to insure the prize if desired after receipt.
If the prize involves appointment or tickets (e.g., a travel prize or event tickets), the winner is responsible for adhering to those terms (e.g., valid passport for travel, event attendance policies).
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or higher value in the event that the original prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control (for example, an updated model of a gadget if the advertised model is discontinued). Any such substitution will be communicated and will be of comparable value.
We value your privacy (see our Privacy Policy), however, we also like to celebrate our winners.
By entering, you agree that if you win, the Promoter may:
For example, we might display "Congratulations to John S. from Manchester, winner of the PlayStation 5!"
We will not publicly share your full name, full address, or any other personal details unless you explicitly consent to this.
We may contact winners to request a short testimonial about their prize or experience, but this is entirely voluntary. You can decline to provide such information without affecting your prize.
If you give additional consent, you agree that we can use your name, testimonial, and any photos you provide on our website for promotional purposes, without additional compensation.
Showcasing winners helps demonstrate that real people win our raffles, building trust in our platform. However, you may opt out of having your information displayed by contacting us.
Any personal data of winners will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our raffle system operates using entry tokens. Here's how our payment system works:
Token System:
Pricing and Payments:
Token purchases are final and non-refundable once added to your account, except in circumstances outlined in section 12 (Cancellation, Changes or Refunds).
If your payment is declined or charged back, any entries obtained using those tokens will be invalidated.
We do not charge any additional fees beyond the displayed prices for tokens and subscriptions.
Entrants are solely responsible for any costs of accessing the website (e.g., internet service provider fees) and for postal costs if using the free entry route (a standard postage stamp).
We are committed to running fair competitions. Any attempt to manipulate the outcome of a competition or your odds of winning is strictly prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to, creating multiple accounts, using automated entry scripts/bots, or posting misleading information.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or void any entries if we have reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms, gaming of the system, or any illegal or unethical conduct.
If an entrant is disqualified after winning (e.g., found to be underage, ineligible, or having cheated), the Promoter may reclaim the prize and either award it to an alternate entrant or dispose of it as deemed fit.
Entries will also be void if illegible, incomplete, fraudulent, or arriving late (in the case of postal entries).
We also reserve the right to refuse any entry at our discretion, or to cancel any Competition if we suspect any irregularities that compromise its fairness.
All decisions by the Promoter regarding entry eligibility and winners are final and binding.
The Promoter intends to run every competition to completion and award the prize as advertised. However, we reserve the right to cancel or make changes to a competition in certain circumstances.
If a competition is cancelled by us and no winner is declared, we will issue a full refund of the ticket price to all paid participants or, at our discretion, credit their account with the equivalent value to use on future competitions.
If a mistake occurs (e.g., a prize was listed in error, or there were material defects in the competition process), we may declare the competition void and refund entrants to maintain fairness.
In the event of any printing, typographical, or technological errors (such as incorrect odds, ticket counts, or instant win outcomes due to a glitch), the Promoter has the right to correct the error and, if necessary, void affected entries with a refund.
We will not make arbitrary changes; any changes will be either neutral or beneficial to entrants or required for legal reasons.
Except when a competition is cancelled by us, no refunds will be given for entries. By entering, you accept that you are purchasing the chance to win, and all ticket sales are final.
If for some reason you accidentally purchase more entries than intended, or entry fees cause an overdraft, the Promoter is not liable for that – please enter carefully.
Amendments: We may amend these Terms periodically; changes will be effective once posted on the website. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter (and its directors, employees, and agents) will not be liable for any loss, expense, or damage arising from or in connection with participation in any competition or use of any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
This means we are not responsible for, for example:
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or other liabilities that cannot be excluded under UK law.
But by entering, you agree that the Promoter's liability is limited to the value of the prize you entered for (and in any case, if you didn't win, you've only spent the ticket fee which is not refundable in normal cases).
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, business losses, or losses to non-consumers.
In the event of any dispute regarding a Competition (whether about entries, drawing of winners, or interpretation of these terms), the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
We will make every effort to be fair and transparent, but to keep the raffle running smoothly, entrants agree that our determination of winners and any resolution of technical issues is conclusive.
If you have a complaint or dispute, we encourage you to contact our customer support to resolve it amicably. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through our support team will be subject to the jurisdiction and law as set out below.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
Competitions are considered free prize draws or skilled contests under UK law and thus are legal to operate without a gambling license.
If you are entering from outside the UK, you are still bound by these English law terms.
In the event of any legal proceedings, you agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes arising from or related to the competitions or these terms.
However, as a consumer, you may also have rights to bring an action in your home country if mandatory consumer protection laws apply. We do not seek to limit any consumer rights under local law.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, that will not affect the validity of the remaining terms.
By entering, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any other rules stated on the competition page. Any violation of these terms may result in disqualification.
We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time, and will post any updates on our website.
This document, along with the details on each competition's page and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the Promoter and entrants regarding the competitions.
No other representations or statements (aside from fraudulent misrepresentation) will be binding.
The Promoter's failure to enforce any term herein is not a waiver of that term.
Our raffles and prize draws are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any third-party companies, including the manufacturers of the prizes we offer.
For instance, if we raffle an Apple product, Sony PlayStation, Amazon gift card, or any other branded item, these companies have no involvement with our raffles. The prizes are purchased by us directly or through authorized retailers.
Prize images shown may be representational and the actual prize will be as described in the prize details.
By entering our raffles, you acknowledge that you are providing your information to PrizeRaffle UK and not to the manufacturer or brand of the prize being offered.
Entrants release any such third parties from any liability associated with our raffles.
If you have any questions about these Terms or need to get in touch, you can reach our support team at [email protected] or via the contact form on our website.
We strive to respond promptly to any issues.
If you have a complaint, we will attempt to resolve it informally in the first instance. For UK participants, if we cannot resolve a dispute you may refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity or pursue legal action as appropriate.
Our goal is to ensure you have a fun and fair experience, so please let us know if anything is unclear or if you have any concerns.
